This book significantly improved my knowledge of how to use my Pi. More importantly, it made the process fun. I'm not a computer programmer but I am very comfortable using my Macbook and desktop pc. The Pi was a little intimidating though. It is just so different than other computers and it can be hard to get started.Fortunately once you know what you are doing it really isn't that hard. I set up an 8 bit video game console using my Pi and the instructions in this book. It is really cool to have some friends over and play the classic games you remember from when you were a teenager. They think I'm an tech expert now but all I did was ready this book and follow the steps. It was easy!

The book makes lots of ASSUMPTIONS that you are a mid level advance Linux person. The book tells you what to do for most steps, not a lot of details on how to do them. If you are a beginner, this is not the book for you.

Super small. Huge fonts. Worst book cover design ever. There is no mastering in this book. Finished it in 30 minutes.

Brief overview of the Raspberry Pi and its capabilities. Yet it doesn't really guide one into the next steps.It is worth the price and an hour to read/review.

Lots of cool projects with complete illustrations that walk you through each step of the process. I've picked up a few of these types of books to learn more about my RP3 but this one was the best. There are a bunch of projects and the instructions are clear. Most importantly, everything I've tried so far has actually worked! 5 stars for sure.

If, like me, we are starting and want to learn more about all the things you can do with a raspberry pi, this is the perfect book for you. This book helped me to undeestand and work with an raspberry pi.

Great kick-start read to get you up and running with Raspberry Pi 3 :)

I thought this would be more in depth, but you can literally get the same information from a 30 second google search and a short article or two.
